As the Director of Leadership & Talent Development, your will support our commitment to caring through designing, implementing, and measuring new career development strategies throughout Geisinger – ensuring that every role offers a unique pathway for leadership development, career development, career pathways for talent mobility. 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
  • Conduct and provide coaching and support around organizational improvement opportunities. Support initiatives to modify culture and adopt new ways of working to achieve inclusion and enhance employee engagement.
  • Develop enterprise-wide, formal and self-guided leadership development programs that are aligned to the Geisinger family framework.
  • Establish multi-year plans for future talent capabilities to sustain and strengthen business competitive advantages.
  • Utilize analytics to analyze different workforce trends and scenarios; perform gap analysis to reconcile the differences between the current and future state needs and develops a detailed action plan to accomplish the initiatives required by the strategic workforce plan including modifications if conditions change.

Requirements

  • Five years’ experience in HR/OD/Learning or related role leading people, strategies and/or programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/OD/Learning or related field
  • Five years of leadership experience in HR/OD/Learning or related field in a large, complex healthcare system preferred.
  • Master’s degree in HR/OD preferred
  • Certification in HR/OD or talent-related specialty from an approved organization (SHRM, HCI, NAHCR, HRCI, AAMM, ASPR, AIRS, ATD, etc.) preferred
