MVM is growing and adding an eLearning Course Developer / Administration Specialist to the team!  This critical role will collaborate across the organization to develop and deliver educational content to help MVM employees grow their careers.

The ideal eLearning Course Developer / Administration Specialist possesses a balance of technically sound instructional design skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment. As a member of the talent development team, you will collaborate with various lines of business across the organization to design and develop learning solutions using a variety of modalities. This new role requires an individual who is knowledgeable in adult learning and instructional design strategies for performance-based outcomes, can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before. You should be technically strong and ideally have experience developing training modules using an eLearning authoring tool, such as Articulate.

You will:

  • Create end to end (design, develop, and distribute) e-learning solutions for a blended training approach
  • Focus primarily on developing new and modifying existing e-learning content
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others
  • Work closely with the Director, Training & Development in the creation of new manuals and eLearning courses
  • Synthesizing content from subject matter experts into coherent, interactive digital learning content that meets objectives
  • Collaborating and communicating frequently and effectively with various project teams and stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are met
  • In collaboration with the Director, Training & Development design evaluation and measurement plans to track the effectiveness of training efforts; produce reports that demonstrate ROI
  • Support the development of a robust multi-level training curriculum that maps to our core competencies and values
  • Oversee and manage all courses and learning assets in the Learning Management System
  • Maintain employee training records

Requirements

You Have:

  • A Degree in instructional design, instructional writing, training and development or comparable experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with curriculum development and training delivery
  • Professional experience in applying instructional design methodologies, particularly in e-learning
  • Previous experience with administering learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with LMS systems, Mimeo, Captivate, Articulate or similar e-learning design systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with elevated levels of thoroughness and accuracy
  • Sense of presence and solid presentation skills
  • Proficient in Articulate 360 Suite of software (Storyline, Studio, Replay)
  • Experience using Adobe RoboHelp a plus
  • Proven professional writing skills and in-depth knowledge of grammar and written styles
  • Ability to edit materials for clarity, consistency, and instructional soundness
