eLearning Training Specialist (R18-337)

In this position, you will design, develop and deliver online computer based employee training that enables employees to perform their work efficiently in a safe, responsible and reliable manner, with excellent customer service.


Design and Develop eLearning Courses and Training Videos

  • Design and develop or customize eLearning for regulatory compliance, company systems and programs that meet the needs of employees and that considers a wide range of learning styles as well as the participants' operations environment using blending learning methods, including but not limited to both instructor-led and online learning.

  • Partner with the Organizational Learning and Development team to bring the latest corporate training issues and technologies to clients.

  • Provide technical training support, expertise, and delivery to clients.

  • Provide consulting services to clients commensurate with individual knowledge and expertise.


    Project Management and Project Support

  • Develop training plans which incorporate milestones and defined outcomes for project support.

  • Translate project strategy and vision for partners to define learning needs.

  • Drive curriculum development through identification of resource needs, milestones, timelines, breakdown of work, and appropriate delegation of work.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation of project deliverables and outcomes.



  • Serve Partners (management, program sponsors and individual contributors) through providing consultant services though needs assessment, development and implementation of solutions to meet business needs.

  • Work with external consultants and trainers to ensure PGE needs are met with the most cost-effective solutions.

  • Anticipate learning needs of our partners and lead with impactful solutions.



You will bring the following skills to our team:


  • Excellent oral and written communication, human relation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of training program design, adult learning theory, and state-of-the-art training techniques.

  • Excellent self-management skills; able to work well collaboratively or independently depending on the need.

  • Effective presentation and group process (facilitation) skills.

  • Ability to adapt and excel in an ever-changing business environment.

  • Typography, illustration, page layout skills

  • Working with Storyboards

  • Experience with video and audio production

  • Experience with gamification

  • Experience with web applications such as Java Script, HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Flash or similar products required

  • Experience ensuring SCORM compliance

  • Working knowledge of course development software (Preferably Adobe applications) and integration with Learning Management systems.


    The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor’s in Communications, Multimedia, Instructional Design, or Education and two to three years’ experience in a training position or some college and five to six years in a training position.
