Client Solutions, as part of LHH’s Strategy and Corporate Development group, is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of LHH’s core product offerings, as well as the configuration (and customization as needed) of online and traditional product offerings for LHH clients and end users. The Global Product Developer supports LHH’s speed-to-market goal through the design and development of curriculum content and materials using a variety of delivery mediums (classroom, virtual, e-learning, blended learning, and technology-based training and performance support). The role involves the creation and updating of new and existing learning and support content, materials, and technologies with a focus on Talent and Leadership Development. We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, learning technologies, performance support technologies, agile product development processes, as well as strong project management skills. 

Reporting Relationship:

  • Reports directly to VP, Global Product Development
  • Frequently interacts with other field and corporate leaders including Global Product Managers, Global
  • Practice Leaders, marketing, finance, and I.T.

  • Works with Global Product Managers and Global Practice Leaders to develop product/solution specifications and requirements
  • Designs and develops globally scalable core product content, materials, technology-based learning and support development components and tools (e.g., learning modules, micro-learning, e-learning) that meet product/solutions requirements and specifications
  • Designs and develops quality scripts, storyboards and instructional resource materials for a variety of different projects and mediums.
  • Liaises with content experts (Subject Matter Experts) to gather, create, validate and update materials as required.
  • Conducts research and provides subject matter expertise in assigned areas/domains (e.g., leadership development, employee engagement, job market coaching, recruiting, etc.)
  • Manages ongoing product improvement (content, instructional design, technology) to keep products/solutions current and competitive
  • Manages partner relationships to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Manages and uses effective needs analysis, course development, and evaluation skills
  • Supports implementation and internal introduction of new products: train-the-consultants, internal communications, e-learning, webinars and Web-based training


Project Management:

  • Uses Agile product development processes to shorten development cycle times and produce solutions that meet user needs
  • Manages projects to on-time completion and ensures the availability of products/solutions for sale or distribution to customers, candidates, and learners in global markets
  • Tracks time and costs of resources for project budget purposes and to develop more accurate budgets and resource plans for future projects
  • Analyzes planned project requirements and develops accurate cost and time estimates
  • Manages multiple project simultaneously and manages competing priorities


Required Experience/Characteristics

  • 5-10 years’ experience in developing learning solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design or Business Management
  • Strong background in designing and developing classroom, virtual and online learning solutions
  • Understanding of talent and leadership development concepts, frameworks and models
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and methods of evaluation
  • Experience with Adobe programs (e.g. Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Articulate
  • programs (Rise, Storyline 360, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with virtual environments such as WebEx
  • Experience in Learning 2.0 (mLearning and Social Learning)
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and thrives in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to turn concepts into tangible deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High personal energy, incredible ability to focus on priorities, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for the talent development and career transition businesses
