The Association for Talent Development (ATD), is the world’s largest association dedicated to those who develop talent in organizations. These professionals take the knowledge, skills, and abilities of others and help them achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking an Instructional Design Project Manager in our Education Department to support development, revision, and maintenance of courses for the talent development profession.

 Functions:

  • Gather and document technical requirements for projects.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Education certificate business line to serve as a trusted consultant on certificate programs.
  • Analyze operational processes and business challenges to identify areas for process improvement for ATD certificate programs.
  • Manage Instructional Design Projects.
  • Provide instructional design guidance to subject matter experts during design, develop, and pilot phases of projects.
  • Research industry trends and source innovative solutions that contribute to the growth and scalability of the business line.
  • Review and evaluate existing programs to make recommendations for enhancements, revisions, and product sunsetting.
  • Manage external vendor contracting and relationships.
  • Serve as the department lead for all certificate program processes and vendor relationships.
  • Write course descriptions for website, catalog, and the learning management system (LMS) in partnership with subject matter experts and marketing.
  • Review LMS set-ups for courses to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Possess a passion for a fast-paced technology inspired culture with the ability to work in a dynamic environment, consistently demonstrating positive business acumen
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving, interpersonal communication, writing/editing, planning, organization, time management, multi-tasking, productivity, and efficiency
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced and cross-functional work environment
