The Talent Development team is responsible for developing and moving talent within Envoy.  We are looking for a strategic out of the box thinker to drive a culture of performance and development.  The specialist will develop and support talent/performance review initiatives and take on a consultative role with regards to talent assessment, skill gap analysis, competency based programs and career pathing activities.  In addition, this position will contribute to our Training Development through facilitation as needed. 

 

Essential duties:

  • Works closely with our HRBP groups to contribute in the design and development of strategic programs that drive business results by aligning the right talent to job expectations
  • Management of the Envoy Competency Model
  • Complete competency mapping exercises to ensure jobs are aligned to the right competencies
  • Conduct talent/performance reviews through the 9-box exercise in order to support Envoy’s Succession Plans at the Management and Sr. Management levels
  • Deliver talent assessments and feedback to identify skill gaps for effective development and action planning
  • Supports management training programs through facilitation, feedback, development planning and coaching
  • Develop leadership training programs that offer a blended learning approach
  • Deliver 360 Performance Reviews, facilitate feedback sessions, and provide coaching through development planning
  • Works with our HRBP to implement and facilitate change management initiatives across the organization
  • Supports the efforts to identify and capture the KPIs for all training and development programs in order to measure effectiveness and track success
  • Present and facilitate collaborative workshops to Sr. Leadership

Position Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development or Human Resources or other HR related field
  • 2-3 years HR/OD experience, especially managing performance/talent management programs and succession planning initiatives
  • Ability to communicate, present and make recommendations to Sr. Leadership
  • Competency in facilitating small to large groups during workshops, strategy meetings and other collaborative discussions
  • Experience with talent assessments and development planning and performance reviews
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States

 

Position Preferences

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
  • CPLP certification
  • DDI certification
  • FranklinCovey certification

 

Additional Position Details

  • Candidates must fulfill a fingerprint based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Candidates must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
  • This position may be subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT). Federal law requires Envoy to determine a candidate’s history with the DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position.
