Beginning Salary Range: $69,900 - $87,400 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of highly motivated and skilled learning and development specialists.
  • Work with the Director of Organizational Development to ensure that all onboarding, development and leadership programs are planned, resourced and executed in alignment with company needs. This includes analyzing training requests and internal MX data.
  • Research and provide expertise in curriculum trends and best practices for ongoing professional development in the areas of leadership, coaching, member service and onboarding.
  • Design, implement, facilitate and evaluate professional development programs as assigned by the Director of Organizational Development. These programs include but are not limited to: leadership training, mentor programs, team building, learning coach/shadow programs, public speaking, sales and service training and competency based career development.
  • Act as a champion for culture and the member experience through the design and implementation of value based and member-centric training initiatives.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of development training programs in alignment with Kirkpatrick’s training evaluation model.
  • Excellent planning, time management and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality using both internal and external resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of learning and organizational development experience, including experience developing and implementing organization-wide training programs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading teams.
  • Strong relationship management, interpersonal and leadership skills, including experience partnering with senior management.
  • Knowledge of current and future trends/practices in learning and development. Expertise in adult learning theories, systems thinking, and organizational culture. Knowledge of training systems, including Learning Management Systems, a plus.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing change initiatives.
  • Above-average proficiency with MS Office Suite of Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in all phases of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation).
  • Knowledge of financial operations or experience in a financial institution preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or knowledge consistent with a degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Human Resources or related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Additional Education/Certifications in the areas of Instructional Design, Project Management, Human Resources, Coaching or Leadership Development preferred.

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • Work Hours: This job can typically be done within a Monday through Friday schedule; however, based on events/organization needs there will be times when evening and weekend work is required.
  • The employee will be expected to travel statewide, primarily to coordinate and conduct training efforts. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance necessary to operate a vehicle (or have other independent means of frequent transport.) Out of state travel including air travel may be required periodically. Travel may be of extended duration.
