We are looking for a dynamic Learning and Development Program Manager who will be responsible for people development initiatives at Consolidated Container Company. This is a new role for our company and will be responsible for incorporating our guiding principles into development content; reinforcing our culture of safety, value creation and disciplined entrepreneurship.  Reporting to the VP, Talent and Development, this role will ensure that CCC is developing the skills and capabilities of our employees to support a high-performance organization.  

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deliver exceptional learning experiences that enhance employee and leadership capability.
  • Execute the development strategy across the organization to optimize resources and support consistency where appropriate.
  • Primary resource on the develop team to evolve CCC’s leadership development practices; aligned with identified capabilities and talent needs, for today and the future.
  • Consult with HR partners and managers to identify specific learning needs and interventions to provide solutions and resources that positively impact results. Identify when learning should be site specific versus organization level.
  • Work with colleagues and identify external resources to effectively design and implement consistent learning programs and facilitation materials that align with the operational vision, core values and key performance initiatives.
  • Oversee the selection and partnership with outside developmental resources. Conduct external research and benchmarking to ensure content and delivery models are positioned to deliver best-in-class results.
  • Designs and incorporates effective communication and feedback methods for development programs and learning experiences. Ensure these measures are relevant to changing business needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments within the business units and functions to evaluate current skills against business objectives, and develops programs to close gaps. Work closely with HR business partners and other stakeholders to identify and anticipate learning needs.
  • Develop measures to monitor the effectiveness of development efforts.
  • Subject matter expert on Learning Management System and functionality required to support blended learning approach.

Requirements

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • BA/BS degree in related discipline or equivalent experience in organizational development and learning. DDI certification a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience and demonstrated track record of aligning development to business outcomes and realizing measurable impact.
  • Ability to manage a variety of programs and initiatives while effectively leveraging organizational resources.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for supporting individual and organizational growth; track record of implementing best practices in the field.
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build relationships.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver with strong project management, diagnostic and consulting skills.
