  • Support and facilitate the Inframark management training programs in conjunction with the HR lead and the learning path development sponsors/teams. This will include communications, coordinating materials, enrolling and managing classes/groups through the program, serving as primary point of contact for technology and vendor management, and monitoring/reporting on participation and outcomes.
  • Support the annual Performance Appraisal/Talent Review processes, including communications, training, and scheduling. Develop and maintain guidebooks and training materials around corporate Performance Management practices and annual Talent Review process.
  • Coordinate training aspects of new hire onboarding process.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking, reporting and measurement for talent-related Key Performance metrics.
  • Plan and deliver various training programs and initiatives as needed; or coordinate logistics for professional trainers/facilitators as required.
  • Provide support for the team to deliver clear, cohesive and impactful employee communications and messaging around a wide range of HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of internships, apprenticeships or on-the-job training programs.
  • Coordinate deployment of employee engagement surveys, communications and action planning in consultation with HRBPs and management.
  • Support planning, administration and communication around employee recognition efforts.
  • Support development of clear, competency-based career progression roadmaps.
  • Oversee administration of employee technical certifications, including policies and procedures, tracking of expirations, and using data to support Talent Review and career pathing.
  • Support organization-wide goal-setting processes and create/deliver communications and training around best practices in effective goal management.
  • Manage relationships with key vendor partners, including Learning Management System and other training content providers.
  • Administer, promote, and provide best practice input into employee Educational Assistance Program.
  • Assists HR team with process and procedure documentation to promote efficiency, consistency and cross-training.

 

  • Acts as a technical point of contact for questions regarding learning platforms, training programs, and L&D developments within the function.

 

  • Partners with Staffing team to ensure performance and development initiatives are aligned holistically with overall Talent strategies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

A successful Talent Specialist will…

 

  • Work in partnership with the business to really understand their goals and develop the best solutions; conduct needs assessments to understand business objectives and apply learning theories to select appropriate instructional tools using instructional design principles with measurable learning objectives based on the audience needs.
  • Consult with subject matter experts, management, employees and other stakeholders to determine appropriate learning opportunities that engage colleagues; and promote meaningful best practices in these areas to support the Inframark business.  
  • Stay current on latest issues, technologies and best practices for learning through research and other approaches
  • Manage time and resources in a self-directed way, while prioritizing and working on multiple projects simultaneously, in order to meet quality standards, project timelines and desired learning outcomes.


Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education/Experience:  BA/BS in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.  Specialization in adult learning or organizational dynamics preferred.  Minimum of 3-5 years professional experience delivering learning solutions or equivalent experience from an academic environment.

Licenses/Certifications:  PHR/SHRM-CP Certification desirable.  Other training related certifications desirable.     

Technical:  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS systems, and internet.  Ability to identify and use best practices. Demonstrates general knowledge of HR practices and technology. 

Communication:  Communicates clearly & professionally.  Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience.  Maintains composure in challenging situations.  Collaborates with others.  Asks for constructive feedback.  Communicates detailed information.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work environment is characteristic of an office environment:  sitting, standing, walking, bending and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs.
