This individual is responsible for assisting with the design facilitation and delivery of professional development curriculum for staff and management to include the coordination and facilitation of new employee orientation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Proactively assesses organization-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify suitable training and development programs.
  • Participates in organization-wide on-boarding efforts for newly employed staff, including the facilitation and coordination of new employee orientation.
  • Coordinates and facilitates training delivery logistics, including room scheduling and set up, ensuring technical issues are addressed, printing course materials, invoice management, and catering set-up.
  • Develops organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
  • Oversees and manages the online learning management system (LMS), including employee access and participation, communication, reporting and tracking, and overall user experience strategies.
  • Facilitates formal and informal learning using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role-playing, job simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and multimedia that engage the learner, encourages participation, and ensures learning transfer.
  • Serves as course registrar for CCHC training courses, conferences, and other educational events.  Maintains course information in LMS; handles intake, processing and confirmation of registrations; communicates in a timely manner with participants.
  • Researches, designs, and develops staff and management development training curriculum for a broad-based employee population.
  • Develops, plans, coordinates and facilitates customized organizational development and learning initiatives such as workshops, retreats, and team building experiences for groups.
  • Measures and reports on training analytics such as attendance, course completion, assessment scores and learning impact.
  • Facilitates pre-and post-training activities, communications and materials.  Provides support to end users and addresses questions or concerns as needed.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and practices to ensure the latest technologies and techniques are employed to engage learners and enhance learner outcomes.
  • Conducts organizational/developmental assessments, evaluations, and special projects independently or with a team of professionals, and prepares appropriate recommendations.
  • Consults with Human Resources staff and management regarding professional development.
  • Provides exemplary customer service at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resource management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of professional experience in organizational development, including design and delivery of learning content.
  • Demonstrated creativity and technical ability as a practitioner (e.g., adult learning principles, instructional design, competency modeling, development planning, leadership assessments, mentoring, coaching, leadership development, team development, and change management).
  • Experience with learning management system (LMS) administration (e.g., HealthStream) preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and L&D tools.  Experience with Articulate 360 preferred.
  • Experience with multiple learning modalities such as collaborative learning, mentoring, social learning and mobile learning.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments.
  • Must be able to foster and build relationships and work collaboratively with a broad and diverse population of professionals.
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver clear presentation of ideas and proposed solutions to all levels of employees; ability to influence successfully without direct management authority.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with strong project and time management skills.
