Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Learning Experience Platform Administrator. The Learning Experience Platform Administrator is the primary system administrator and technical subject matter expert for the Talent Development learning management system (LMS). This position oversees the implementation of system updates, gamification tools, enterprise integrations, and other software integrated within the LMS. This role responsible for the support, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources and technology housed within the LMS. The position is responsible for first level technical support, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources and technology housed within the LMS

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Maintains the daily operation, use, and configuration of Compass Learning Hub LMS including: monitoring and reviewing quarterly LMS enhancement/change documentation and communicating system changes to stakeholders
  • Guides the social learning community within the LMS for user experience and functionality
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of current and new learning technologies as it applies to LMS software and systems
  • Maintains technical procedures and policy documentation to ensure the security and integrity of the LMS
  • Collaborates with Talent Development team members on technical needs and opportunities as it relates to the LMS
  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing user data and recommending solutions on how to best utilize the LMS to efficiently deliver and track learning, to meet organizational objectives
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the LMS and integrated technologies in order to maintain an 99% uptim
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements
User Management:

  • Designs and delegates security roles based on stakeholder needs
  • Creates user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohort groups

Course Management:

  • Populates course information and provides Quality Assurance for current and archived courses
  • Generates dashboard and reports to inform leadership of key strategic initiatives for ongoing access to learning information
  • Collaborates with Talent Development team members to process and optimize the setup of course programs based on specifications and user experience
  • Manages the third party technology relationships for service requests and to maintain their course content and technology updates

  • Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality
  • Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services(Saba, BizLibrary, Skillsoft)
  • Reviews and monitors system performance
  • Works with instructional designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with learning management systems- Preferably SABA
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Technological expertise in maintaining virtual learning programs with learning management and registration systems
  • Highly motivated and driven individual who thrives working in cloud based HRIS, LMS, VILT, or comparable software
  • Possesses excellent listening, time management, and creative problem solving skills
  • Operates with a continuous improvement mindset with respect to process improvement, new technologies, and user learning experience
  • Ability to utilize and manipulate multiple computer programs, including adobe and Microsoft Office applications
  • Possesses an unfettered curiosity and desire to learn new technologies

Work Hours:

Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexibility to meet business demands as needed
