Job Summary:
Functions as an internal consultant to assess, measure, and enhance the performance of employees. Works as a business expert identifying opportunities to partner with employees to support the institution’s strategic goals and objectives. Directs performance improvement projects, and designs and implements performance improvement interventions. Design and execute learning programs in one or more of the following areas: leadership development, management development, change management, client satisfaction, interpersonal skills, team development, and communication. Evaluates projects based on standardized metrics and intervention outcomes.

Job Duties:
1.  Develops strategic partnerships with institutional leadership, HR partners, and other internal clients to identify and intervene on change management initiatives that foster organization learning and address institutional strategic goals and needs. Addresses and responds to organization development issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps, implementing and/or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions.

2.  Identifies and uses instruments and surveys to analyze individual and team behavior and recommends strategies for making needed changes. Focuses on improving team, departmental, and institutional functioning. Facilitates group and departmental planning and interaction to improve group/ department productivity, decision making and performance in a team based cultural environment.

3.  Influences and supports changes in institutional behavior. Serves as an internal consultant to facilitate team building; resolving work group conflict; changes in group norms, values, and culture.

4.  Upon request, coaches faculty and staff at all levels of the organization to expand their leadership and change management competencies. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resource, Industrial Psychology or a related field. 

Experience:
Five (5) years experience in providing organizational development support. This includes departmental consulting, learning program development, talent development, and strategic interventions.
