Opportunity to directly influence employee development and engagement by designing and delivering a variety of customized learning programs for UNFCU’s global workforce. Responsible for creating and delivering high quality, interactive and engaging learning experiences. Responsible for the development and design of online and instructor-led courses, along with basic LMS administration and reporting. Requires a devoted educator who is up-to-date on tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance. This is a highly visible role, working closely in concert with managers and SMEs, requiring the ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout UNFCU.


  • Identify training and development opportunities throughout the organization through job analysis, research and consultation with SMEs and leaders at all levels to align on training priorities
  • Conduct needs analysis, design learning objectives, content, relevant job aides and manuals
  • Create instructor-led and on-demand learning to improve employees’ skills and performance
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, communicating consistently to stakeholders in a professional way
  • Demonstrate trustworthiness and integrity both to staff and members
  • Facilitate and present training on a range of technical and performance related topics
  • Create and maintain schedules and attendance records for training classes
  • Assist in room setup and remain present during trainings to ensure programs run efficiently
  • Create, monitor, evaluate and measure effectiveness of training and development programs
  • Prioritize to meet deadlines effectively on multiple projects; anticipate needs and work independently
  • Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media and learning methods
  • Stay current on developments and innovations in adult learning and corporate learning
  • Partner with third party vendors to develop and implement additional innovative learning solutions
  • Provide support and recommendations regarding training requests
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders and learners in a courteous manner
  • Provide basic administrative support for LMS tasks




  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of training delivery and design experience


  • Experienced in needs assessment and instructional design for instructor-led courses
  • Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory and practice (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, Bloom’s, etc.)
  • LMS experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong public speaking ability
  • Ability to manage relationships at all levels throughout the organization
  • Ability to multi-task in an evolving environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
