HBI is seeking an LMS Administrator/Content Developer.  In this role you will:

  • Assists the Education Department with LMS implementation including developing business processes and managing system utilization.
  • In partnership with the AVP of Curriculum & Training, develops learning solutions for multiple delivery methods including, but not limited to, print-based material, instructor-led, web-based, virtual classroom, and blended instruction.
  • In partnership with the AVP of Program Performance & Evaluation, configures automated reports as needed.
  • Translates instructional design solutions into interactive and responsive applications as well as troubleshoots technical delivery issues across multiple platforms and devices (SCORM/Tin Can, web-delivery, PC, Mac, iPad).
  • Creates and maintains curricula, instructor-led course material, evaluations and assessments in the LMS.
  • Assists with loading, creating, and retiring courses in the LMS.
  • Provides training to new users (employees and channel partners) on how to use the LMS.
  • Maintains end user job aids, monitors and answers questions, and provides support for troubleshooting learner and system issues by phone and email.
  • Administers user access and configures system settings
  • Monitors course evaluations to recommend improvements in training on an ongoing basis.
  • Tracks and evaluates changes/new features of system upgrades, reviews issues, and provides comprehensive testing.
  • Assists with the management and maintenance of applications integrated with the LMS (e.g., research, evaluation, testing, upgrading and back-end modification).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional technology or similar discipline
  • Three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience using and managing Learning Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning methodologies
  • Working knowledge of various creative software and eLearning authoring tools with specific experience in Articulate Storyline and the Adobe suite
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying user needs and delivering customer service
  • Experience writing training documentation and support resources
  • Excellent troubleshooting and software testing skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and creative problem solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills and keeping abreast of new and emerging instructional technologies
  • Capability of working independently as well as with others
  • Experience with migrating historical data to new LMS
  • Experience with/knowledge of accessibility and usability standards
  • Knowledge of tablets and mobile technology
