Department Overview

The Performance and Talent Management Department develops organizational talent and maximizes individual performance to equip associates in achieving corporate goals. This department is also responsible for using industry standards and methodologies to provide direction, policy, strategy and solutions related to individual performance improvement, measurement and goal alignment and talent development and management.

Primary Responsibilities

The Management and Professional Development Facilitator is primarily responsible for the research, design, development, implementation and presentation of management and professional development learning content, programs, activities and events. The incumbent provides learning for all levels of employees, including managers in an effort to assist them in enhancing their performance and their employee’s performance. The incumbent is also responsible for fostering innovation in improving the quality of courses/learning content by providing feedback to the management team and peers. This includes suggesting new methods, products, procedures or technologies that would ultimately enhance the learning experience to meet business needs and increase associate performance.

Summary of Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree
•Willingness to attain certifications in Performance Management within one year of hire
•2 years of experience in a professional environment facilitating training and/or soft skills coursework or programs, classroom management, utilizing adult learning techniques to ensure course objectives are met
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Experience conducting needs analyses, and determining and assessing evaluation techniques
•Experience designing and delivering training using professional skill development theories
•Experience researching, designing and implementing coursework
•Working knowledge and application of the principles of Performance Management/Behavioral Leadership
•Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint products efficiently
•Possess strong teambuilding, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and adaptability skills
•Certifications from nationally-renowned organizations such as ATD (ASTD), DDI, SHRM, Franklin Covey preferred
•Extensive knowledge of adult education methodology, or an acquired certification in adult education techniques preferred
