This position is primarily focused on producing effective and engaging media in support of online training/development initiatives and curriculums.

Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Create, deploy, and maintain eLearning media including: non-responsive and responsive online learning, simulations, scenario, audio, video, and additional media, as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with internal consultants, business-line partners, and Subject Matter Experts to clarify deliverables, reinforce desired outcomes, and create effective instructional development storyboards, eLearning solutions, learning assessments, and other media while taking projects from their inception to completion (learning content provided by internal consultants, SMEs, etc.)
  • Build engaging, impactful user interfaces and graphic design elements for use within media; provide creative direction on interactivity and imagery. Provides innovative input and ideas to storyboards and concepts
  • Demonstrate instructional design and development skills to recommend/determine the most optimal way to sequence and structure learning content
  • Determine instructional media appropriate to learning strategies and learner resources; provide creative approaches to learning design and explore and recommend ideas that enrich the curriculum
  • Execute the tasks associated with the training project from storyboard to completion
  • Perform project management tasks; manage multiple projects; organize work and drive task completion
  • Deliver AICC and SCORM compliant learning modules that meet our overall business needs
  • Researches current industry best practices in eLearning technologies and techniques, as well as research, test, and recommend developer tools.

Previous Experience In:

  • The following content authoring tools: Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise, VideoScribe, and Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Captivate.
  • Knowledge of learning management solutions and creating AICC/SCORM compliant content that functions within the LMS
  • Knowledge of eLearning creation, along with creation of media such as audio, video, custom animations/interactions, custom graphics, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in eLearning instructional development and adult learning theory
  • Visual design, specifically, knowledge and experience in how to craft the visual experience that works best with course content
  • Experience in design, specifically, knowledge and experience in creating user interfaces that facilitate the best learning experience
  • Adult Education in a financial services and/or corporate setting a plus

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in eLearning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions. Relevant experience can be taken into consideration.
