We are seeking an exceptionally multi-talented, creative, positive and energetic leadership training and O.D. professional to join our team. This unique person will have a strong blend of polished training delivery skills, instructional design expertise and leadership development knowledge base. Pro-active, diplomatic and team-oriented with a heart for service describes this role in our nationally recognized and award winning organization.  Healthcare experience strongly preferred.


The Organizational Development & Education Consultant is a professional educator, instructional designer and facilitator responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating interventions to increase organizational effectiveness.  In collaboration with the Director, O.D.E. they will create strategies for developing leadership effectiveness, engagement and increasing the overall health of the SMH culture.


Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in training and development, organizational development, instructional technology, adult education or related degree.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in OD related activities (includes OD interventions, management training and leadership development)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in instructional design with demonstrated proficiency
  • 3-5 years’ experience in classroom delivery and facilitation in the corporate setting
  • Ability to design compact, interactive learning experiences for management staff
  • Ability to be highly diplomatic in dealing with clients even in stressful situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and rapidly changing environment.
