About the opportunity…

As the Organizational/Development Manager for HUB Northwest, you will be working alongside a team of growth-minded professionals being accountable for crafting people processes to maximize the employee and leadership experience. You will have ownership in designing, delivering, and continuously improving specific talent initiatives while insuring they fit our Northwest team strategy.

If you have experience with onboarding, career development, employee engagement, leadership development, performance management, diversity & inclusion, and workforce planning, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Details about the responsibilities & duties of this role…

  • Research, recommend and design employee training and development systems that span the life cycle of the employee. This includes the delivery and measurement

  • Create seamless people development programs such as onboarding, career development, training and leadership development that connect with our business goals

  • Design, participate or lead sessions for talent initiatives that improve performance of employees and the organization

  • Collaborate in creating and refining our talent strategy

  • Create competency models

  • Develop team-building exercises and workshops

  • Work with management to identify specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies and procedures

  • Diagnose potential organizational problem areas

  • Assist in the strategy for finding talent and develop best in class onboarding processes

  • Organizing and overseeing individual and team training programs

  • Assist in building succession plans

  • Our offices are located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska, so you will be required to travel up to 25% of the time

What you bring to the table…

  • If you have prior insurance background, that is a plus but definitely not required

  • You should have demonstrated experience designing and delivering employee training programs

  • Knowledge of performance management systems, and HRIS software is required

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms with all levels of employees and leadership is mandatory

  • Experience with executing webinars and face to face presentations is a requirement, if you have experience with various different webinar platforms that is definitely a plus

  • You need to have a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution

  • You should have the ability to simultaneously and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities, and exemplary project management and organizational skills

  • You are required to have the ability to work autonomously and work with several different personalities

  • You must have a positive attitude in the face of challenges

  • We would like you to have a four year college degree, preferably in organization development, HR, or a related field
