Position Overview: The OD Talent Development Specialist will partner with team members to create and promote innovative and high-impact talent and organizational development programs and initiatives. This role is a key architect responsible for the research, design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate professional and functional development, performance management, and continuous learning of employees across the organization.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work with team to develop and oversee a core professional, management development curriculum (instructor-led and alternative delivery media [elearning, video, etc]).
  • Manage PACE's Learning Management System; leverage the LMS to support new and on-going learning initiatives and projects; analyze usage; lead communications and training for staff.
  • Use instructional design principles to research, assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions for staff.
  • Manage the evaluation process for all learning including quarterly reporting on learning events.
  • Manage the performance management system and develop and implement training related to PACE's performance management process.
  • Collaborate with leadership on the creation and marketing of learning and development programs to drive focus and visibility of new and existing learning initiatives.
  • Provide facilitation for organization-wide in-person courses and team development sessions for staff as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze user utilization and trends using LMS data.
  • Create and maintain toolkits and other resource materials to support learning.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Required Qualifications

·     Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development, Human Resource Development, or related field.

·      At least 3-5 years of in-depth learning and development experience.

·       Knowledge of adult learning theories, curriculum design, needs assessment, and evaluation methodology

·       Proven experience developing learning programs for employees at all levels with an emphasis on using multiple learning modalities to deliver learning solutions.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership and experience leading innovative solutions in the field of learning, development, business solutions, and Human Resources. 
  •  Practical experience consulting with internal business partners to identify needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships, manage projects, facilitate change processes, and effectively communicate to achieve organizational goals.  
  • Demonstrated analytical decision-making, project management, group facilitation, innovative problem solving, prioritization, and internal consulting.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Articulate Storyline or other e-learning authoring software.
  • Experience managing a learning management system for course delivery, managing registrations, and learning program evaluation.
  • Experience building course content, conducting classroom training, assessing training effectiveness, and building/leading courses that are focused on building skills and capabilities.  This experience is grounded in Instructional Systems Design.

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Adult Learning, or related field.

·         Experience working in, or closely with, an Organizational Development department.

·         Certification in Situational Leadership II and Franklin Covey learning content

·         Certification in various assessments (I.e., MBTI, CCL assessments, EQ-I 2.0, etc.)

Other Requirements

·         Must adhere to Organization Values and Principles

·         Upholds the ethical standards of the Organization

·         Follows policies and procedures of the Organization

·         Must work evenings and weekends as required to fulfill workload requirements

·         Must be able to travel by automobile, plane, train, etc.; overnight travel is required

·         Current Florida Driver’s License
