Are you an HR Practitioner with proven experience in performance management and employee relations who wants to feel they are making a difference both at work and in their community?  Do you have successful experience developing and delivering innovative programs and services within the performance management function of human resources?  The Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters Health System (CHKDHS) is pleased to open a Performance Systems Manager role within our Human Resources department where you will be able to make a difference while leading positive change within the HR suite and across the entire organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, and partnering with the HR team, this individual is responsible for the development and administration of performance systems including Performance Evaluation, Performance Improvement Plan, and Corrective Action, as well as monitoring and advising to ensure compliance with policy as well as state and federal regulations.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP). 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in the administration of HR performance management systems consistent within an environment of collaboration, teamwork and engagement.
  • Solid working knowledge of Human Resources processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in planning, supervising and establishing a professional working environment within areas of responsibility.
  • Experience in identifying problems and implementing solutions for operational and organizational issues.
  • Demonstrated ability in compiling and analyzing data and information to guide strategic planning.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to direct and assign work to subordinates, explain organizational and department policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with other professionals.
