Psychologist (Instructional Design Cadre Lead)

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has an opening for an experienced psychologist in the Employee Development Group within the Air Traffic Organization, developing and integrating content and strategies for our portfolio of programming.

The key responsibilities of this federal position are:

  • Managing a complex and challenging portfolio of instructional design projects with multiple concurrent priorities and competing demands
  • Designing and developing leadership development programs, including workshops, courses, and webinars
  • Developing leadership development curricula
  • Applying expertise in assessment to identify and recommend assessment tools for use in development programs
  • Developing and implementing selection processes and talent reviews for succession planning and other development programs
  • Designing and developing evaluation methods and tools for development programs

The full-time, permanent position is a non-supervisory K-Band level (approximately equivalent to GS-15) and is located in Washington, DC. The salary range is $122,467 to $189,760 per year.  Excellent benefits are provided.

The position is classified as an 0180 Psychologist. (Personnel Psychologist) - we want experienced learning professionals with psychology or equivalent degrees, not clinical psychologists.
