The Sales Learning Consultant will be responsible for building and implementing a best in class sales training program for highly productive sales force in a hyper growth environment. This role will coordinate training programs for all types of salespeople from new hires to seasoned professionals utilizing a range of training techniques and tools.   This role will support the training needs of both outside and inside sales and across 3 segments of sales; Strategic, Mid-Market and Enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities(other duties may be assigned)

  • Create and deliver sales training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales force
  • Build training content, including guides and learning aides
  • Determine the right delivery approach (online/video, in-person courses, presentations)
  • Understand the corporate and strategic goals relevant to the sales teams and organization
  • Create a roadmap for continuing education programs
  • Determine training gaps/needs
  • Develop individual performance programs by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources
  • Provide training for not only sales process and sales skills, but product knowledge and the application of technology tools to the sales process.
  • Ensure measurements are in place to validate training accuracy 

 

Requirements

Required Qualifications/Skills: 

  • 5+ years of related sales experience
  • 5+ years of corporate sales training experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing, training, coaching and deploying a Sales curriculum
  • Experience with creating video/multimedia/slide deck content for dynamic online training programs
  • Experience training to a proven solution selling sales process

  Education/Certification/License (preferred): 

  • Miller Heiman Strategic Selling
  • Challenger Sale
  • Sandler Training, or other Solutions Sales Training
  • Acclivus or Bay Group Negotiation Training, or other Negotiation Training

 Travel Requirement: 30% travel
