The Daikin Learning Institute drives business value by providing excellence in learning to our external and internal customers. We provide technical HVAC education to sales and service organizations. The Senior Learning Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end learning program management in a variety of modalities. This role will work closely with Leaders, SME's, Training/LMS Admin and Operational Learning Manager to deliver excellence to our customers. Strong knowledge of leveraging technology for learning is key. This role will lead projects and will be expected to coordinate with both internal and external resources. The content in the Daikin Learning Institute is highly technical engineering topics and would require someone with experience on highly technical topics.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. 60% Learning Program Management

Partner with instructors, leaders, stakeholders and vendors to deliver learning experiences that drive business results. Create innovative and collaborative learning environments that engage the participant, manager, SME and stakeholder. Manage multiple learning events and modalities simultaneously: ILT, VILT, blended, learning pathways and curation. Responsible for end-to-end program management, working with training admin to ensure all administrative details are managed; including tracking, materials, communications and budgeting. Responsible for measurement & assessment of learning effectiveness. Evaluate metrics to provide insights and recommendations to optimize solution.


2. 20% Project Management

Responsible for the management of multiple simultaneous projects directing the work of internal and external resources. Leverage standard learning project management practices and tools including: charter, scope, schedule, budget, risk and dashboard. Accountable for projects to be delivered on-time, within scope and budget.


3. 20% Performance Consulting

Partner with leaders, sponsors and subject matter experts to identify learning opportunities that drive business results. Produce needs analysis, high impact learning maps and learner personas that deliver innovative, performance-based learning outcomes. Identify opportunities to leverage learning and collaborative technologies to enhance the learner experience.

Education: (Minimum Education required)

Preferred: Degree in Learning, Education or Human Resources

Preferred: Masters or other certifications


Experience: (Minimum Experience required after minimum education achieved.)

5 years Program Management

Virtual program management

LMS experience


Project Management




Experience with highly technical training topics

Technology: SnagIt, Webex, Pathway, Cornerstone

Masters or other certifications

Managing multiple modalities: Virtual Instructor Led, eLearning, Micro-learning, Pathway
