This position will write and produce training materials and publish on a variety of platforms including web-based training, in-person material, written manuals and training aids on products across the portfolio (EBD and injectables) and other topics as needed. Function will provide service for the global Merz Aesthetics organization (focus on affiliates). Position will also format all materials in line with adult learning theory principles and utilize industry standards for evaluating learning objectives including determining ROI on learning events and activities delivered in person and for an a-synchronous learning environment.

Requirements

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, assess, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning for all divisions of Merz related to physician facing training and education.
  • Anticipate and coordinate projects as required under the direction of the Associate Director Global Medical Education & Training Aesthetics.
  • Maintain and actively pursue content knowledge application and update.
  • Integrate learning curriculum to meet end user needs while working cross functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, R&D, PIR and any other department.
  • Responsible for content development and maintenance, training of trainers and new hires under the guidance of SME's throughout the organization.  
  • Maintain a high level of compliance within the quality control system, treatment records, training, and administrative documentation. 
  • Lead in the development of innovative content to the MiAA platform through ongoing assessment and evaluation of stakeholders and market needs. 
  • Build relationships globally to enhance strategic vision to build on business drivers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Refined presentation skills in order to lead in-person, web-based and conference call sessions. - Required
  • Ability to understand and translate complex clinical and technical material for training purposes. - Required
  • Ability to work in a true cross-functional manner with multiple subject matter experts. - Required
  • Full understanding of evaluation methods and criteria in order to assess learning objectives. - Required
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to use Adult Learning Theory in conjunction with ADDIE model for roll-out. - Required

KNOWLEDGE OF METHODS

  • ADDIE Model and effective evaluation. - Required

EDUCATION

  • BA/BS Degree - Required
  • Advanced degree or certification in learning and development - Preferred
  • Global education experience - Preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Past experience in a heavily regulated environment with some history of organizational risk mitigation - Required
  • Aesthetic Industry experience - Preferred
  • Solid business-orientation, and proven record of assessing and meeting customer needs with a focus on ROI - Required
