Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for all steps associated with sourcing and delivering qualified, diverse candidates for INTERNAL HIRING at TEKsystems.  Roles recruiting for include Technical Recruiter, Sales and Customer Service positions.


Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist must have the ability to develop strong communication channels with internal stakeholders and exemplify the core values of TEKsystems. The TA must be able to provide excellent customer service to external applicants and internal clients by showing initiative, follow up and the highest degree of professionalism.




  • The TA Specialist is responsible for Internal Hiring for TEKsystems' offices across the US
  • Subject Matter Expert for Talent Acquisition goals and delivery strategies for assigned markets
  • Partner with the Directors of Branch Operations, Local Hiring Managers, Diversity Talent Program Manager, Veterans and Disabilities Lead and the University Relations Recruiter to provide a continuous pool of candidates to the field offices.
  • Build relationships with the local and regional Directors/ Hiring Managers from assigned markets/ departments to ensure the specific staffing needs are being met. Continuous follow-up with Directors/ Hiring Managers and office administrators on the status of candidates.
  • Partner with department leadership, develop and implement hiring strategies to attract and retain the best candidate for TEKsystems.
  • Identify and participate in local networking activities, professional association meetings, and supporting the college recruitment strategy.
  • Evaluate all resumes received and select only candidates that are qualified to enter into the interview process.
  • Act as a point of contact for offices in assigned regions as well as candidates concerning all internal hiring and staffing matters.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation using iCims, the current ATS, and other related recruiting software.
  • Responsible for constant training and communication to the field offices on staffing and hiring best practices.



  • College/University Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful overall recruiting experience
  • As this position involves working on multiple positions at one time, must be able to set up daily and weekly plans and prioritize effectively
  • On a virtual team with minimal supervision, qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required as the TA role includes regular communications to leadership, offices and other members of the TA Team
  • Upon qualifying a requirement and establishing an effective recruitment plan, the ability to effectively execute and communicate progress is necessary. This requires excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • OFCCP and EEO Compliance is critical which makes strong attention to detail within documentation required
  • Must demonstrate strong problem solving abilities and have the ability to interact with all level of employees including senior leadership
  • Must be able to to represent TEKsystems in a postive manner both internally and externally
  • Travel is required approximately 30%
