Role and Responsibilities:

As Technical Trainer – Salesforce, this position develops and delivers training on all ICMA-RC selected Salesforce system features—Activities, Events, Opportunities, Contacts, Chatter—and other systems of focus, which include, SAS, Zycus, and Jabber,

 

etc. Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate assigned technical training content/programs, primarily for the Sales workforce. Provide internal consultancy to the organization, individual managers and associates to raise the performance management

 

capability of all staff through training and development activities.

 

Essential functions for this role include:

• Partner with the client and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify training needs;

• Suggests and develops exercises and activities that enhance the learning process;

• Helps the client decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments;

• Develop curriculum and documentation for application and system training

• Maintains course folders and project documentation (i.e., editing, standardizing, creating drawings and diagrams, and maintaining track of revisions, etc.);

• Manages aspects of the customer event (i.e. instruction, application implementation, environment, setup etc.) to ensure success;

• Produces quality deliverables on a project (i.e. assessments, communication, curriculum development, Tutor);

• Demonstrates the ability to teach new technical material, deliver new offerings and services, and/or implement new Salesforce Applications modules with minimal preparation time and guidance;

• Provides software application training using a variety of delivery methods including web-based and on-site training.

• Develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities that determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.

• Develop training plan, prepare training materials, provide informal and formal knowledge transfer

• Extensive travel required

Requirements

If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience; Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification required

• Five to seven years of performance consulting and training development experience required. Subject matter expertise in Salesforce application and Salesforce training necessary

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint & Word

• Demonstrated presentation design and facilitation skills

• Performance-driven, results-oriented; comfortable /flexible with changing priorities, high levels of ambiguity, and non-routine issues

• Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbal

• Ability to deliver training in-person and virtually to diverse audiences and group sizes

• Ability to communicate with highly technical team members and develop training that can be understood by non-technical individuals.

• Ability to work independently/take initiative to work with Functional SMEs. Willingness to work within a team structure

• Familiarity with SCORM and AICC preferred

• Familiarity with Agile Methodology
