WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and vision in planning, implementing, evaluating and monitoring the organization-wide Training and Development (T&D) function in support of the overall business plan, strategic and operational goals of the organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to leaders of business units and provides learning solutions to meet internal/external business needs by working with all levels of leadership to determine learning needs and recommending strategies, tools, and programs to meet business unit needs. You will build and maintain advisory/consultative relationships with leaders and staff in content expert areas that provide input to or deliver training and development internally and externally. You will direct and oversee a comprehensive learning strategy through T&D Department programs, initiatives, and solutions in support of the overall business plan, strategic and operational goals of the organization. You will direct, manage and oversee T&D Department staff by mentoring, coaching, and provide development and growth opportunities for your team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE AND BE EXCITED BY
• Leading innovative T&D strategy and planning in a hybrid model/approach to stakeholder learning
• Developing, implementing and monitoring standards for training and aligning training practices and principles across an organization
• Leading the development of education programs:
   - On company-specific technology systems, as well as general business systems such as Word and Excel
   - To train staff on core business functions and operations to ensure a general understanding of business processes
• Implementing multi-faceted leadership development and mentoring programs
• Updating and maintaining an employee on-boarding program
• Utilizing learning management systems to effectively deliver high-quality and engaging programs
• Partnering with customers to develop and deliver training programs


Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of:
• Adult learning models and learning objectives
• Developing learning solutions to advance the organizational strategy
• Principles and practices of supervision and training
Ability to:
• Develop, plan, organize and direct programs and activities that are complex in nature and regional in scope
• Foster effective working relationships, influence others and build consensus with individuals at all levels in the organization
• Create an environment that fosters learning and engagement
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development or Instructional Design, or a closely related field and 12 years of relevant training and development management experience,
• Or a Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience,
• Supervisory and change management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
