Job Summary:

Responsible for companywide training including planning, design, implementation/delivery, evaluation, and improvement of training course content and curriculum to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

 

Description of Tasks:

  1. Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new training and development needs and recommends training methods accordingly.
  2. Coordinates with subject matter experts to gather information and design training curriculum; including online courses, classroom lectures and self-study sessions.
  3. Coordinates with various departments to help support and facilitate training as needed, including: orientation training, compliance training, safety training, security training, new process training, etc.
  4. Serves as administrator of the company’s Learning Management System, performing day-to-day training maintenance including; enrolling employees in training courses; tracking/recording employee training certifications and courses taken; and assisting employees with any issues regarding training and development.
  5. Evaluates all existing curriculum and makes recommendations for improvements.
  6. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various functions, and documents SOPs in Caddell’s knowledge management system.
  7. Develops and implements tools and measures to evaluate training initiatives and determines if objectives are being met for various training efforts.
  8. Stays current with industry trends. Conducts and appropriate benchmarking activities to ensure identification and implementation of best practices.
  9. Manages external vendor relationships for activities relative to delivery and tracking of training courses.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or company management.

Requirements

  1. Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma/GED with 5+ years dedicated training and development experience required. Minimum 2+ years of experience in designing corporate training curriculum. Bachelor’s degree with four years training experience is preferred.
  2. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong technical computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience using Articulate360 (Storyline and Rise) strongly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (both written and verbal) with individuals at all levels of the company. Ability to remain highly organized with good time management skills. Must be self-directed, and will take initiative to work on training initiatives independently with minimal direction.
