The Institute for Professional Development (IPD) at Metro State University provides non-credit customized training to businesses on a variety of topics and continuing education to individuals seeking leadership skills for career advancement. Those who work for IPD take pride in helping organizations and individuals grow so that Minnesota workplaces are diverse, inclusive, equitable and engaging so that they can provide high quality products and services, but also provide a positive environment for employees. This role will mostly interact with external businesses and IPD staff rather than with campus faculty and staff. Benefits will vary based on negotiated contract, but as a MAPE employee at Metro State, you can anticipate:
