Company Overview
King and Prince Seafood Corporation (K&P) has grown from a single man operation in 1925, to a global manufacturing company of high quality seafood products. Purchasing seafood from 23 countries and domestically, the corporation currently employees over 450 talented individuals at our three facilities. With the Brunswick headquarters in continuous operation for more than 90 years, our production facilities have grown to encompass two additional production plants on the West Coast in Redmond and Bellingham, Washington. These companies are held as part of the King and Prince Seafood Corporation under the umbrella of the global powerhouse of Nissui Corporation. King and Prince Seafood proudly supplies high quality seafood products to many of the leading restaurants and food service distributors in the nation.
Employment at K&P Seafood has remained steady in light of the technological advances that have given way to modernization. We are one of the largest manufacturing employers in the region and host team members with varied and diverse skill sets. Our employees’ skills include manufacturing operations, quality control, sanitation, logistics and procurement, industrial maintenance, engineering, food science, culinary arts, sales and marketing, finance and human resources management. Approximately 35% of our workforce holds a bachelor’s degree or higher.
King and Prince Seafood proudly supplies high quality seafood products to many of the leading restaurants and food service distributors in the nation. We are pleased to count Red Lobster, Darden, Panda Express, Popeye's, Krystal, Culvers and many other restaurant operators as valued customers. Additionally, Sysco, US Foods, Restaurant Depot and numerous other independent distributors are purveyors of our high quality seafood products. We have shipped our products to all 50 states, and outside of the U.S. Each year, we process nearly 3,000 trucks in and out of our 3 facilities.
