This division provides support for the county's nearly 2,000 employees in the areas of compensation, benefits, employment services and employee relations.
Benefits
Medical: The county offers two medical plans through Aetna to best fit your needs. Those plans include Aetna Open Access Select and Aetna Choice POS II HRA.
Dental: The county offers high and low options dental plans through Aetna. Both plans allow for network and non-network provider services, based on a percentage (per coverage type) of the Preferred Dentist Program (PDP) usual fee when a network provider is used.
Vision: Vision care coverage is provided through Davis Vision, and there are high and low plan options.
All regular full-time and part-time employees are covered under the Florida Retirement System.
